MEET OUR TEAM
David C. Beck
David C. Beck, CPA, is a Founding Partner and serves as Strategic Advisor for StoryShare. Dave owns Copia Capital LLC and has been its Managing Director since September 1998. Dave serves as President and Owner of Wine Funding, Inc., and has served on a number of Boards of both publicly held and private corporations. Dave also serves on the Advisory Board of Legacy.
Dave is trying to retire, but start-ups like ours are reticent to let him. Dave is a strong supporter and brings experience with a wide variety of businesses.
Caspar Appeldoorn
Caspar Appeldoorn serves as a Strategic Advisor to StoryShare. Caspar served as Vice President and General Manager EMEA at Ecolab from September 2010 to March 2014.
Caspar also serves on the Advisory Board of Legacy. Caspar has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from European University, Belgium and Master of International Management from Thunderbird Campus, Arizona, USA.
Laetitia Fatio Gaillard
Laetitia Fatio Gaillard is a Founding Partner and serves as a Strategic Advisor to StoryShare. Her extensive global experience includes Customer Relations & Care, Services, Aftersales, Operations, Key Account and Project Management in fast paced and technical environments.
Laetitia also serves on the Advisory Board of Legacy.
Terry Balderson
Terry Balderson, CPA, serves as a Strategic Advisor to StoryShare.
Terry is a consultant to US political figures as well as a select group of individuals and corporations.
For over 25 years, Terry worked with Capital Formation Counselors, a management and economic consulting firm, and was President his last 11 years there. Terry also serves on the Advisory Board of Legacy. He earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, Wisconsin.
Amy Balderson
Founding Partner of StoryShare, Amy serves as the President and CEO. She also founded Legacy®.
Having lived and worked in Switzerland, Japan and the US, Amy’s background is in broadcast journalism, public affairs, crisis and strategic corporate communications consulting. Her clients have included: ABB, Dow Chemical, Novartis, Lego, P&G, Serono, Shell, Tetra Pak and Verizon.
Kuena Diaho
Kuena Diaho serves as a Board Member and Strategic Advisor to StoryShare. Kuena hails from the Kingdom of Lesotho. She is a lawyer by profession and worked for the World Bank as Advisor to the Executive Director of the Africa Group 1 Constituency. She serves on the international Board of the World YWCA and is the Founder and Managing Director of Mecha Consultancy, a global legal research, development and management consulting company. Kuena also serves on the Advisory Board of Legacy.

Kathy G. Lubbers
Kathy G. Lubbers serves as a Strategic Advisor to StoryShare. Kathy’s experience in politics spans four decades and includes strategy, team building, communications, public relations, media and fundraising. She delights in guiding teams and organizations to achieve their “highest selves” by identifying their strengths and focusing on the key components of leadership, relationships and performance. Kathy balances long term strategic planning with immediate and tangible results.
Jeanne Cadwallader
Jeanne brings over 25 years executive level experience across the broadcasting, cable and new technology industries. Her experience includes serving as a Philanthropy Officer at the South Florida Region’s American Red Cross. She is renowned for advocating on behalf of constituents, staff, and customers through careful listening, to achieve mutually beneficial success. She is passionate about doing the right thing and known for creating positive, fun, tension-free work experiences.
